So as you may remember, I photographed the beautiful mommy-to-be, Jenn and her gorgeous bump. Well, meet her handsome little man, Mr. James Hudson Corcoran, just 12 days old! His favorite things are eating, peeing, napping, and pooping! haha! Oh and being super super adorable!

After two nursing sessions, lots of bouncing and loving from daddy and mommy, and a little quiet time, I was able to capture some really precious portraits of this precious boy. You could tell that mommy and daddy were over the moon in love, and how couldn’t you be, just look at him!

I had the wonderful opportunity to take on a 17 person, family photo session this past spring. Siu-Ling {the mommy of the adorable Gabe}, along with her brothers and sister, wanted to give their mom a Mother’s Day gift that they knew she would cherish for a lifetime! She had always wanted to have a huge family portrait. I was honored to be a part of this very sweet gift for her! Mrs. Leo is such a beautiful, loving, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is one of those women that when you meet her, it’s like you’ve known her forever! And I got all of this from meeting her just one time! The Leo family is truly blessed. You can just tell what a huge bond the entire gang has. It’s such a cool thing to see such closeness and love!

Thanks for having me be a part of this beautiful gift for your mom. I hope the entire family enjoyed the experience! I know I did!

This adorable mommy-to-be contacted me a few weeks before her little man was due. We decided that because of the heat, and that she was so far along (and looking absolutely fabulous might I add!) that a “mini” maternity session was going to be the best option for her. I don’t typically do “mini” sessions, but I couldn’t say no! So we set up shop in my garage and we started shooting. Jenn looked absolutely amazing! She had the cutest figure, with the most perfect belly, and a [new] beautiful smile (she just got her braces off a few days before!). Jenn is also one of those girls that I felt like I had known forever. I’m not sure if it was because we bonded over being mommy’s soon, or what, but she was so easy and so fun to work with. I’m so glad that I said yes to her mini session! I hope I was able to capture you and your beautiful belly just the way you pictured!

grant girl number 2! | central florida photographer

All our friends were so excited when we found out that The Grants were having another little one to add to their beautiful family! I was even more excited when I found out I was expecting my first, that I would be sharing in this time with Kristin. I was just three months behind her! Would Ava have a little brother or a little sister? We think dad was crossing his fingers for a little boy to add to his bunch, but Miss Ava definitely wanted a little sister and we’re not sure she was going to have it any other way. Of course the most important thing was a healthy, happy baby! Well, little Miss Ava was right! She was going to have a baby sister! We couldn’t be happier for them! Now the hard part, picking the name of this little one! After months of coming up with different names from Taylor, to Hannah, they narrowed it down to three…Lilly, Layla, and Ella. My personal favorite was Lilly. I have always loved that name. Mommy and Ava loved Layla. So much that we think mommy trained Ava to call her belly Layla, but she is still denying it, haha; and Ella was daddy’s favorite. There were long conversations, and votes and debates and more voting, and well we were all convinced that mommy and Ava were going to get their way. It was two against one, and Joe had better get used to it, because it was about to be three against one very soon, haha! The family kept it a secret until baby girl number 2 was born. Well, I think we can all be honest and say they didn’t know which to choose until they met her themselves. So we all waited in suspense for the good news of her health, mommy’s health, and the name of their new little girl!

Miss. Kenley always plans her birthdays, and they are always a blast! They aren’t just any old birthday party either…this year she wanted to do a photoshoot with her closest friends! So, with Kenley’s explicit instructions to “wear something purple…and be creative!” the girls got together and strutted their stuff {and experience a little of Orlando’s culture} in downtown Orlando! It was a lot of fun spending the afternoon with all 9 of these pre-teen girls! I hope you had fun Kenley!

baby ava is 6 months | central florida photographer

Do you remember baby Ava from way back in September 2010? Well had the opportunity to spend some time with the almost 6 months old! I got to spend the afternoon capturing her little laughs, and squeals! Thanks to her big brothers, she was kept entertained and smiling (she loves her big brothers!)

The adorableness is never ending with this one! Her eyes are absolutely stunning, and her smile brightens a room for sure!

gabriel turns 3 months old! | central florida photographer

Ok, so I have to start by saying that Gabriel is probably one of THE cutest little boys ever! He seriously melts your heart! He is such a handsome little man, and is such a good baby too! His mommy and I went to high school together (not too long ago…haha) and I was so excited when she reached out to me to photograph her little guy. Originally we were trying to do a newborn session, but unfortunately it just didn’t work out between mommy recovering and my schedule, but we made sure to pick a date for his 3 month session.

It was such a pleasure working with such a beautiful family. Siu-ling is such a beautiful mom, inside and out; and while this was the first time that I was meeting Tom, you could tell what a wonderful father and husband he is. Gabriel is super lucky to have the two of them for parents!

I’m a huge fan of following your passion…your dreams. If it wasn’t for the encouragement of my family and friends, I’m not sure I could have made the leap back to photography, but…I’m so glad that I did and I have them to thank for their continued support.

That is why I am so excited and proud to support a very dear friend of mine, Jessica Yeaman with Honeysuckle Cottage Custom Designs, as she follows her dream with her custom jewelry design.

If you’ve ever met Jess, you know how she is always put together with the latest fashions, but most importantly the latest in accessories. All of our girlfriends are always looking to her when it comes to helping accessorize. Whenever I need a new necklace for an outfit, I’ll go into Target or something and just stare at all my options and I literally think “what would jess wear?” So, it’s is no surprise when we heard that she was designing her wedding jewelry for her and her girls. When we saw the pieces, we were blown away!

What makes Honeysuckle Designs so unique is that it is all custom. Jess uses antique jewelry to create modern pieces. She goes to antique shops, estate sales, or you can bring family antiques to her and she mixes and matches pieces to create one flawless design. She has a friend in the industry that is currently helping her make and put the jewelry together, but Jess designs every last bit of the custom pieces, right down to the clasp. She can make necklaces, earrings, rings, bracelets, you name it. It is amazing how she puts it all together in her mind as she is designing each piece.

I had the opportunity to go to a trunk show of hers several months ago, and it was so much fun. She has current pieces that are finished that are for sale, and she also brings out all of her antique pieces in their original state, so you can pick pieces for her to design. What is even more special is you can also bring family antiques that you may have received from your grandma, or great great grandma and it sits in your drawer because you truly do love it, but it’s not something you would actually wear. Honeysuckle Designs will take your family antiques and create something that you can wear and still keep that beautiful family memory.

It is such a unique experience, and you end up with a one of a kind, amazing piece. I’m not saying this because Jess is a good friend of mine. You can see for yourself what I’m talking about in the pieces below. These all came from her wedding that her and her girls wore. She has more pieces now, but I haven’t photographed the newer items, as they seem to sell pretty quickly.

colin turns one! | central florida photographer

You may remember this little guy from his 6 month photo session! I don’t get to see him as much as I would like and he is growing up so fast, but I was so glad to be able to capture his first birthday photos back in December 2010!

We were able to photograph some adorable pictures of Colin and mom (aka one of my besties since high school) before the cake smash. Then it was cake time! He was a little hesitant at first. The balloons were more interesting then the cake, so we had to take those down, then he liked the candle, so we pried that from his little fingers (after he ate all the frosting off of it of course), and then finally he took notice to the cake, and then it was on!

Now December is fast approaching all over again and he’ll be 2! It is just so crazy how time really flies by. Don’t grow up too fast Mr. Colin! Auntie Jess loves you!!!

Meet The Grant Family…Joe, Kristin, and Ava Rose! One of my most favorite families… and very special friends of ours!

When I picked up my camera again, and decided to start Jessica Liane Photography back in July 2010, I was dying to photograph The Grants. They have been very good friends of ours for years, and they are such a beautiful family inside and out.

Well, it took a few months, but we finally got it together and picked a date, and a great location… Lake Lily in Maitland. Not only were these going to be their family photos for the Holidays, but this was going to be their last family session before the three of them became four! The Grants were expecting another little girl to add to their family.

On our way to the session, we were driving in the rain, so we were really worried this was going to be a very wet session, but we arrived, the clouds parted and we got just the perfect weather we needed to make their family session a success!

Ava loves ballet, and couldn’t stop showing off her twirls!
