My memory is terrible, but I think it was about 6 or 7 years ago that I met Mrs. Ana Gonzalez. We worked together for about a year at AmSouth Bank, when I was a bank teller. She is one of THE most kind, happy, caring, sweetest, women I know (and one great chef too!), and I am so glad that we have been able to keep in touch over the years. Ana is one of those people that you can’t forget— she has a smile on her face all the time, (and she loves to talk). She is an amazing mom, loving wife, and sweet, sweet friend. Even if a year goes by that we don’t speak, it’s like we pick up where we left off!
And, that is about how long it’s been—I think—since we talked last, before she called me a few weeks ago to see if I would be interested in photographing her daughter, Astrid. It couldn’t have been better timing, and so typical of how in-sync we are it seams, because I just started my photography back up again! The last time we lost touch for a bit, she called me out of the blue, not long after I got engaged. Her, Astrid, and I went for sushi and talked for hours to catch up! When she called me this time, I was so excited to hear her sweet voice, (you know how “phone-tag” can be). “Jessiiiica, it’s Aaana!!” She is too cute!
I can not believe Miss. Astrid is a senior in high school!!!! She had to be like 10 when I met her, and now she’s 17! Insane! She is absolutely gorgeous, and, not only is she stunning, she is just like her mother, sweet, kind, and always has a smile on her face (unless she’s striking the “fierce” pose).
Thanks, Astrid, for spending your morning with me! It was so much fun, and you are absolutely stunning!
Love,
Jessica Liane
