images for a cure + 9 families = success | central fl photographer

I was so excited to be a part of Images for a Cure for the first time in the fall of 2010, that I really wanted to do as much as I could to make a difference. While it is only required for the participating photographers to donate one day of session fees, I chose to team up with not only Brianna Forster Photographer for a mini session event, but also Amber Scott Photography for a Saturday mini session event. Amber coordinated a whopping nine families for our Saturday afternoon event, and I couldn’t wait to tackle this full day with her.

All of the families were great to work with! Downtown Sanford was the destination, and we had 30 minutes for each session. The weather was beautiful, and we got started with the amazing Corcoran Family, and ended the day with the adorable De Pina-Rivera Family. It was a huge success!

mia turns two…for a cause | central florida photographer

The Schoenrock Girls’ Images for a Cure session was one of the mini sessions that I teamed up with Brianna Forster Photography on and we had so much fun working together!!

I worked with Brianna Forster Photography again, on our final Images for a Cure mini session with the adorable Mia! She is too cute for words! Her birthday was just around the corner, so her mom thought it would be a wonderful way to capture her 2nd birthday pictures, while donating to a wonderful cause.

We were able to take a few with her baby sister, arianna, too. Mia loves her baby sister! How could you not, she’s soooooooo cute!!!

in honor of… | central florida photographer

In honor of the Images for a Cure workshop tomorrow and Wednesday, I’ve finally put together a collage of some of my favorite shots of my 2010 Images for a Cure sessions! I’m behind on my blogs like bad, but this was a must!

I am so, so glad that I was able to be a part of this wonderful event in the fall of 2010, and I can’t wait for the next two days full of fabulous, creative people sending tons of knowledge my way!

Images for a Cure is something that I hope to be apart of for years to come—a charity where all proceeds benefit The Breast Cancer Research Foundation®. It’s a way that I can use my talents to give back, and hopefully help to find a cure for breast cancer.

In the fall of 2010, I joined Bri Photography and Amber Scott Photography for a few days of mini sessions. In total we helped raise over $500! Thank you to all of the beautiful families that came out to help support this wonderful cause.
