All our friends were so excited when we found out that The Grants were having another little one to add to their beautiful family! I was even more excited when I found out I was expecting my first, that I would be sharing in this time with Kristin. I was just three months behind her! Would Ava have a little brother or a little sister? We think dad was crossing his fingers for a little boy to add to his bunch, but Miss Ava definitely wanted a little sister and we’re not sure she was going to have it any other way. Of course the most important thing was a healthy, happy baby! Well, little Miss Ava was right! She was going to have a baby sister! We couldn’t be happier for them! Now the hard part, picking the name of this little one! After months of coming up with different names from Taylor, to Hannah, they narrowed it down to three…Lilly, Layla, and Ella. My personal favorite was Lilly. I have always loved that name. Mommy and Ava loved Layla. So much that we think mommy trained Ava to call her belly Layla, but she is still denying it, haha; and Ella was daddy’s favorite. There were long conversations, and votes and debates and more voting, and well we were all convinced that mommy and Ava were going to get their way. It was two against one, and Joe had better get used to it, because it was about to be three against one very soon, haha! The family kept it a secret until baby girl number 2 was born. Well, I think we can all be honest and say they didn’t know which to choose until they met her themselves. So we all waited in suspense for the good news of her health, mommy’s health, and the name of their new little girl!
